It has come to light that some workers have been attending site and clocking to the biometric system and then leaving claiming hours and receiving pay that they have not worked. This has been captured on CCTV and come to light that it is happening with more than one person.

THIS IS FRAUD and will be treated as such.

We are currently going though all data and cross checking against pick rates & CCTV footage.

Any money/hours fraudulently claimed will be pursued and legal action will be taken.

To prevent this from possibly happening again there is new measures being put into place.

• You must still use the biometric system at the start and end of the shift.
• In the event there is an issue with the system you must use a timesheet we have sent to you and you will also find them onsite. YOU MUST find a manager to get your hours signed off by them.
• You can then take a picture of this and send it to Bluestones or place it in the post-box when this is fitted (we will let you know where this is once it is set up)
• You must attend role call and sign in and out 3 times, Start Middle and End of the Shift.
• In the event of lateness, you must seek out a manager to report this and continue with the above
• If you need to leave the site early, you must seek out a manager to report this and continue with the above.
• If you cannot attend your shift, YOU MUST ring Bluestones before your shift starting on 0141 4420 060
• If you have claimed hours previously that you did not work, you must report it to Bluestones immediately - we will be checking every shift.

Bluestones Supply Chain will no longer tolerate this behaviour and it is deemed as gross misconduct and criminal activity.
