Solderer

Bluestones Supply Chain are urgently recruiting Solderers for one of our clients based in the Coatbridge!

This is a Full-Time permanent position working on a rotational Dayshift/Backshift shift pattern.

Responsibilities:
· Assemble and solder electronic components according to work instructions and quality standards

· Use hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to complete tasks

· Gathers components needed to meet production schedules

· Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality assurance

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
· Proficiency in soldering techniques and experience with soldering equipment

· Knowledge of electrical components and their functions

· Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in assembly processes

· Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

· Knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues

Shift Pattern:

Dayshift 06:00 – 14:00
Backshift 14:00 – 22:00
No weekends
Overtime available
35 hours + per week
Requirements:

Must have over 6 months experience
Must be over 18 years old
Must have experience working with electrical components
J-STD-0001
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to read equipment manuals
Extensive knowledge on the soldering process and techniques
Excellent attention to detail

This position requires a high level of manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet production deadlines.
