Driver of the Year 2021

Bluestones Supply Chain is pleased to announce the launch of this year’s Driver of the Year award, celebrating the people who work in one of the country’s most demanding and important jobs – professional driving.

Driving an HGV is challenging, and a career as a driver requires a specific mindset and unique abilities. It’s not your typical 9 to 5 and although most people take commercial lorries on the road for granted, without the drivers the UK’s economy would grind to a halt.

That’s why we believe it is important to recognise and reward our drivers. Throughout December our clients will be voting for the drivers who they think deserve to be recognised this year. We will then crown a Driver of the Year from a shortlist of client nominations. The worthy winner will be awarded a £250 shopping voucher of their choice.

The winner will be announced on the 7th January 2022, after a whole month of celebrating the UK’s professional drivers.

From the food in our shops to the Christmas presents under our trees, drivers have an impact on nearly every aspect of our lives, but they are too often taken for granted. The Driver of the Year award is designed to celebrate these hardworking individuals and show our thanks for all they do.”
